au revoir rue du coq gris

All things packed and moved to our new house, it is strangely sad to leave this place. Although it will be a relief not having to climb the three flights of stairs anymore, I will miss this cozy loft we've been living in the last six months. And although we will no longer have to bear with the noise from the pubs downstairs at nights, I have really enjoyed being in the center of town and being able to run downstairs to the shops.

No matter what, 4 Rue du Coq Gris will always be special for us, as it is the first home that we have lived together as a family - just us - which is bliss. It is where Imran learnt how to be mobile - from playing in his baby gym in the corner of the house to rolling around in the living area to crawling all the way to the kitchen to check what his Mama is up to! It is where we hosted the many dinner parties where we got to know our friends better, showcased our traditional cuisine and had many interesting conversations.

Well, I hope there will be more to come in the new house with an even bigger area for Imran to explore and bigger groups of friends to be comfortable in. For now, it is only two more nights before we get home - can't wait!
